We went into our room and found the bed not made and the room not cleaned. The halllways not cleaned and the elevator dirty. We paid way too much for this. We have been here several times but we never stay here again.

I worked there less then 2 weeks. Everyone told me I was doing a great job! I have the emails to prove it! I received a call from the manager that I wasn't a good fit. Manager and assistant manager are mother and daughter. I don't understand this! I was a retail manager for 35 years! Very unprofessional atmosphere! Lynn was wonderful! Sales manager! He's a class act! I'm interviewing with the Hilton! I would not recommend working for Staybridge

Your post is somewhat confusing. You state that they charged your personal credit card and are out the $900 yet you say you used a charge card where they couldn't actually get any money from you and all they had to do was reverse the charge.

Your situation sounds more like you gave them a debit card, not a credit card, else there would be no reason for them to send you a check for that amount. Whatever the case, it's good to know about the lack of customer service at Staybridge Suites if anyone is considering staying there.

Stayed at motell in amarillo Saturday August 11th. Trash in trash can under sink om check in No outlet covers on plugs. Trash outside front building was running over and on the ground. Temperature was 81 when we checked in and took about 3 hours to cool off. Had a 2 bathroom and there was a hair dryer in one bathroom. Told front desk on check out. He was very un concerned.

I received a call from Jenny on this problem and she was extremely helpful. Aside from her apologies, she discounted my room adequately for the problems experienced. This particular Staybridge Suites was recently opened and many of the staff are new which explains many of the problems experienced.

"Deposit for the entire stay" - Pre-payment for the full cost of your stay. "Forfeiture of deposit" - You will not get your money back.

I work for a hotel and the cancellation policy you copy-and-pasted from their website is actually worded to say that cancelling your reservation will cause you to lose the ENTIRE deposit - frankly you are lucky they only charged you for half of the deposit (one night's stay). Quitcho ***
